To help facilitate continued learning and development upon sound Islamic values, based upon the Quran and the Sunnah.

We live in a time of overwhelming distraction and high demand for our time, attention, energy, and focus.

Unfortunately, for many of us this demand upon our lives often prevents us from able to sit down and keep ourselves engaged with the beneficial knowledge and Guidance that nourishes our hearts, inspires our souls, and helps us continue to improve ourselves, our lives, and our families:
ALL OF WHICH are actually in need of us having a good grasp and a decent level of understanding.
“The knowledgable one is a doctor to almost all of his ailments.”

Driven by a passion to help the Ummah re-engage with beneficial knowledge, our mission is to create and facilitate continuous learning, development, and growth (Tarbiyyah) upon sound islamic values for those whose hearts yearn and love to stay engaged with knowledge.

Simply put, is an Ummah engaged and growing in knowledge (‘ilm) despite their productive lifestyles, whether it be in the home, during hobbies, travels, or just not having an inclination to reading a physical book.

It is a Vision of life NOT being an obstacle to that which improves it and hearts not being deprived of their nourishment.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
Ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge with Allah from knowledge that is of no benefit.

He (peace and blessings be upon him) also said,
The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with the one who seeks knowledge, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and the fish in the deep water will ask forgiveness for the learned man.

[Both ahadith can be found in Sunan ibn Majah]

The Muslim

The Muslim lifestyle is one in which a person is constantly growing, learning, developing, and becoming a better version of themselves, so it is an issue if one’s lifestyle itself is a cause of them “detaching” from beneficial knowledge. Knowledge is not only a fortifier against ignorance, doubt and despair for a person, but it is also a thing that elevates them, it is a rectifier, and it is also a means of honor for them in the sight of Allah and the angels.

The Auditory Learners

There are many of us who truly love to learn and improve ourselves in our Deen, but feel that we benefit more via “engaged listening” rather than physical books.

So we have set out to create a means by which we all can continue to relax, reconnect, and re-engage with beneficial knowledge, whether we are in the midst of our daily motions or just sitting back and relaxing with a nice beverage.

The noble scholar, Imām Ibn Bāz said:
“[it is also] upon you is to strive to benefit the muslims in their religion.”
[Majmū’ Fatāwā]

The Source of Islamic Understanding

It’s very simple!

The Quran

The Revelation of Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth, which He has preserved from corruption and sent as a Guidance and final revelation to all of mankind.

Allah, the Most Beneficent, said:

"The revelation of the Book (The Quran) is from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists) in which there is no doubt!"
(Surah As-Sajdah 32:2)

"This (The Quran) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious)."
(Surah Aali Imran 3:138)

The Messenger

The Prophet,
Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah (peace and blessings be upon him), whom the Quran was first revealed while he was in the Cave of Hira over 1440 years ago, and was sent as an example and final Messenger to all of mankind.

Allah, the Most High, said:

"O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life..."
(Surah Al-Anfal 8:24)

"And we have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a warner to all mankind..."
(Surah Saba' 34:28)

The Sahabah

The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah be pleased with them) who embraced the Message, understood the Deen correctly, and strove with their wealth and their lives to preserve it.

Allah, the Exalted, has said:

"And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun and the Ansar and those who followed them exactly (in faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well pleased with Him..."
(Surah At-Tawbah 9:100)

Allah, the Most Gracious, said in a statement directed to the Companions:

"You are the best of peoples ever raised for mankind, you enjoin good and forbid evil, and you believe in Allah"
(Surah Aali Imran 3:110)

The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The best people are my generation, and the people who come after them, then the people who come after them.
(Bukhari and Muslim)
